A denture is made across several appointments: impressions, a try-in where you see and approve the tooth arrangement before it is finished, and the fit itself. That try-in stage matters — it is where shade, shape and how much tooth shows get agreed while everything can still be changed.
New dentures always take some getting used to. Speech and eating feel unfamiliar for the first weeks, and small adjustments in the early days are normal and expected rather than a sign something has gone wrong.
