Inside every tooth is a soft core of nerve and blood vessels. When decay, a crack or an injury reaches it, the tissue becomes inflamed or infected — and that is what causes the deep, persistent kind of toothache.
Endodontic treatment removes that tissue, cleans and shapes the canals it occupied, and seals them so infection cannot return. The tooth itself stays where it is. Dr. Pooja Shah works under rubber dam isolation, which keeps the tooth dry and isolated from saliva throughout — the standard that makes precise, controlled work possible.
